One month old pictures!

These are a little late as well but here are some 1 month old pictures of our sweet boy.  Thank you Natalie Harris for taking these of him!  =)

Welcome Home Dane!!!

On January 23 we received a phone call from our adoption agency stating that we had a little boy waiting for us to pick up.  He was born December 25, 2012 - weighed 7lbs 1 ounce and was 21 inches long.  We were told to come pick him up the next day January 24th.  We weren't at all expecting this call but long story short we were selected by his birth parents back around the first of December.  There were some legal issues that hindered them from telling us sooner but those have been resolved and they didn't want to delay him from joining his forever home. 

We left for Greensboro on the 24th and met him at the adoption agency at 1pm.  We were able to meet with the nurse that made monthly visits and also met his foster parents, Nan and Bob.  They were phenomenal and we know it was very difficult for them to let him go.  We have no doubt that he was taken very good care of.
